Circus pedagogy combines physical activity that are in the circus and the use of artistic skills with educational content and objectives. This working method is aimed at encouraging physical development, which is an important aspect of the lives of young people. Moreover, encouraging children and youth to try this attractive method of self-expression and self-development contributions, developing courage and their natural needs to improve character in search of fruitful activities. This means constantly discovering new challenges and acquired skills in a creative way.
The workshops are aimed at children aged 8-12 years. The participants will work with the circus trainers and teachers to learn different circus disciplines Age-appropriate the basic basic level such as trial balance (the wire and other appropriate facilities), trapeze, acrobatics parterre (disc front / rear, star …) developing a sense of spatial motor skills through polygons ..
The workshops are part of the project Cirkobalkana platform that aims to develop circus pedagogy in the Balkans. The previous phase of this project took place through workshops as part of the festival Cirkobalkana 2015 in Belgrade and Zagreb, as well as through two visits Turbulli circus school in France. Workshops were held under the supervision of Pierre Chartier, Director circus school Turbulli from Nima, and were attended by artists from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian.
